Broadway Green: Sculpture with Nature The Fashion Center BID invites you to join us for the opening of BROADWAY GREEN: Sculpture with Nature A Summer Public Art Installation Thursday, July 12th at 10:00a.m. Broadway Plaza between 39th and 40th Streets Refreshments will be served Created by New York based environmental artists, Patricia Leighton and Del Geist, BROADWAY GREEN’s seven growing sculptures bring the presence of green and a touch of nature to each of the pedestrian plazas on Broadway. The raised cubes visually and contextually elevate nature, leading the eye upwards and creating a contemplative natural presence within the vibrant core of New York’s Fashion District. On display through Labor Day, BROADWAY GREEN extends along the Broadway plazas, from 36th Street to 41st Street.
