"Click"
much too far and much too fast;
the further that we reach, the further we fall back.
fury, frenzy; why is the world inside of me?
i click across the modern page,
i dream alone beneath the stage.
there is but naught to be afeared -
eyes closed: pretend that i'm not here.
currents run as they always have:
beneath, undivided, decided.
yet faulty winds turn the surface back.
as truth may never be redeemed,
i try to make a perfect dream.
should edge of life feel ever near,
i flee to that dream of my home so dear.
imagine now a world that's clear.
should edge of life feel ever near,
i flee to that dream of my home so dear;
imagine now a world that's clear –
should edge of life feel ever near,
i flee to that dream of my home so dear;
imagine now a world that's clear – ...
the further that we reach, the further we fall back.

Next 'Plutonian Pictures' Screening • Veiled Oscuro
Veiled Oscuro plays upon the literal and figural darkness of the film noir genre. From the cast shadows emerge convicts, con men, and cops. Sam Fuller's Pickup on South Street (1953) entertains with its mysterious intrigue and its characters' raw energy. Will you join us in the underworld?
